Welcome to our School
We are in the process of onboarding our new Vine Schools website! Please bear with us whilst we update key information.
Welcome to Seagry Church of England Primary School’s website. We hope that it gives you a good idea of the supportive, friendly and stimulating environment we provide both the children and their parents at our school: from pre-school through to Year 6.
Located in the village of Upper Seagry, we are easily accessible to Chippenham, Malmesbury and surrounding areas.
At our school, we endeavour to create a framework of love, security, trust and respect. We aim to nurture our children to acquire knowledge, skills and understanding and to recognise success at each level of development.
We have an open door policy for parents so that we constantly communicate with them to ensure that their children are happy and getting the most from the opportunities we offer.
Our school is part of a three-school partnership with two other local schools: Christian Malford and Somerfords’ Walter Powell CofE Primary Schools. The three schools are led by our Head of Schools, Miss Christina Brugger with Mr Shaun Carter and Mr Alex George, who are the Assistant Headteachers, being responsible for the day-to-day running of Seagry School.
Seagry CofE Primary School is part of the Church of England family of schools. We believe it is important to promote core Christian values by which to live and which to help to develop a moral and spiritual awareness.
Our Local Board and Diocese of Bristol Academies Trust are supportive and skilled and work closely to continue to grow our school. Our Friends of School provide vital help with fundraising and social events. Together we form a strong team for our pupils through these important first years of their education.
It is impossible to include everything on our website so we hope that you will take the opportunity to come along to an Open Morning/Afternoon or call the office on 01249 720213 to arrange an appointment to visit.
Seagry CofE Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff and volunteers working with children are subject to a full Disclosure and Barring Service check.
